Day 273

This photo was taken in the warm late September sun as I was in Exeter by the Cathedral for lunch. I processed the photo in the cross process app.

Day 272

This is an Iris photo app processed photo of one of the bikes in the 'pedalabout' feature in the middle of the main roundabout in Seaton Devon.

Day 271

This photo was taken of the former Debenhams/new John Lewis building in Exeter. I intentionally took it and processed it in the dynamic light app with one of the built in features giving this effect.

Day 270

This photo was taken looking at a deserted town centre in Seaton, Devon. I then processed it in a free app that I had just downloaded called my Sketch which created this effect that I quite liked.

Day 269

The photo here is a Hipstamatic photo of a building facade in Seaton that I have photographed before, however what made it for me was the open window, leaving a sense of mystery about the building, with the door in the central position just luring you towards the building. This photo may lead to a small project, looking at doors/windows of buildings and the feelings/personalities that they may convey.

Day 268

Taken and processed using the photoforge 2 app, this is a photo looking down the stairs in the house, which have been stripped to the floorboards as this area is being decorated at the moment.

Day 267

Bit of a quiet day today, so I took a photo of my computer desktop screen, which is one of the dslr photos I took after the 2011 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, a great day.

Day 266

This photo was taken of a dead fly on my hand which I had just swatted as there were a load of them around annoying me. I then processed the photo in the snapseed app on my iphone.

Day 265

With just 100 to go, this is a 360 degree panoramic photo that I took early in the morning in Seaton town centre by turning my iphone full circle while using the 360 pano app.

Day 264

Today's photo was taken standing outside a recruitment centre, where I was handing in an application form for a job I was applying for, hopefully I will get an interview in the near future.

Day 263

Just over 100 to go until the end of the project! This is an experiment that I did, with a photo of the sea, beach and sky which I then added a blur to in the BlurFX app to make the sea have a crashing effect. It didn't quite work out as I had planned, but I still quite like it.

Day 262

The 262nd photo of the project was taken using the basic camera looking out to sea, where the horizon was obscured by fog. I then processed the photo in the Lo-mob app to give it a dreamy feel, similar to the Sugimoto seascapes photos.

Day 261

This photo was taken at night on the rad leading down to Beer beach, close to the wet fish shop. I then processed the photo in the Infinicam app.

Day 260

This is a photo of one of the boats on Beer beach in East Devon, which was then processed in the Iris photo app to give it the old used look.

Day 259

This photo was taken while I was shooting long exposures on my DSLR camera of night work on the new Tesco store in Seaton, Devon. This area was lit by a single floodlight, leaving the rest of the area in darkness.

Day 258

This photo was taken in Exmouth after stage 5 of the 2011 Tour of Britain had finished and while I was walking to the train station, this was the team sky bus, used to shuttle the riders etc of that team to the next location on the tour. I took this with the basic default iphone camera and then processed it in the Blurfx app.

Day 257

This is an evening photo I took of the southern side of the Tesco eco store currently being built in Seaton, Devon. I liked how it was lit up green so it kind of fits in with the whole eco store vibe. I processed the photo in the camerabag app.

Day 256

This is a stitched 25 photo panoramic image that I took of the new Tesco store being built on the regeneration area in Seaton, Devon.

Day 255

This photo was taken in Beer as I was walking home from Seaton as the light was quickly fading into the darkness. I processed it in the photoforge2 app and gave it the white rough border around the edges.

Day 254

Today was the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the US. I took a photo of my watch at 8:46am, the time that the first hijacked plane hit a tower of the World trade center. Processed in the noir photo and pictureshow apps.

Day 253

This photo was taken while sitting in the passenger seat of a car, while going past a field with thick fog descended onto it, you can just see the trees visible through the fog on the horizon. I processed the photo in the Camerabag app to give it a square crop and a light line border around the edge.

Day 252

This photo was taken on my iphone 3gs today, as I was standing in a farmyard. To fit in with the theme of a farm, I decided to make it look dirty by processing the photo in the pic grunger app.

Day 251

This photo was taken of the front door of Seaton youth centre, which is scheduled to be demolished in the coming weeks. But before that happens, asbestos needs to be removed from the site, that is made clear by the sign on the door. I wasn't surprised that the building contained asbestos so it came as no big shock to me. I processed the photo in the photoforge 2 app.

Day 250

The 250th photo is looking down on Beer beach, with rain clouds gathering over the bay. It was processed in the dynamic light, touch retouch and photoforge 2 apps.

Day 249

Yes, the second photo in a row that happens to be taken in a car park! This time, I was looking at different lines and shapes in the small corner. It was processed in the Shakeitphoto app.

Day 248

This photo was taken on an empty level of a multi storey car park early in the morning, with water running down the sides and onto the concrete, creating reflections from the lighting. I processed it in the Noir Photo app and gave it a dark blue hue instead of plain black and white, which gives it a fairly cold, lonely feel

Day 247

This is a 3d anaglyph photo that I took using two iphone 3gs photos then processed in the 3d photo app. It is of part of the former youth centre in Seaton, Devon which is about to be pulled down to make for a pedestrian entrance to a new Tesco supermarket in the regeneration area.

Day 246

This photo was taken using the Hipstamatic app at Seaton fair after I had been to a fairly underwhelming Seaton carnival procession beforehand. I spotted this inflatable attraction in the corner of the fair on its own, badly lit, no music, no punters, leaving the attendant repeatedly spinning around on his swivel chair.

Day 245

This photo was taken of a dvd I had just burned, with all 4000+ of my iphone photos backed up on it, they are also stored on my computer and an external hard drive, but you can never be too careful, just in case one or more of the back up devices fails.

Day 244 (1/9/11)

The first photo of my 365 project in September was taken at 7:35am by Axmouth Harbour, using the Pro-HDR app to bring out some beautiful colors of the rising sun behind the cliffs in the background.
