Day 212

This photo was taken using the slow shutter cam app at high tide, where the tide was crashing over the rocks submerged underneath. It was shot handheld, with an exposure of half a second in order to capture the motion of the water. I then processed the photo in the Noir photo app to change it to black and white.

Day 211

This image was made out of two separate images I have taken from the same spot, one in March this year and the 2nd bottom one today. They show the progress and change on the regneneration site in Seaton, Devon, where they are building a Tesco store on this side, visible in the bottom photo. The photos were put together in the Diptic app.

Day 210

The photo for today is slightly different. It was made by first taking a photo panning side to side and up and down in one shot using the slow shutter cam app, of the TV screen so that there was a washed out white cross in the photo. I then added various filters to it via the photo studio app to convert to black and add some of the different effects.

Day 209

Todays photo was taken while I was looking for views on the Axe Cliff Golf Course in Devon, when I came across these 3 stray sheep standing by one of the holes, as i stepped towards them I had their attention as they fixated their eyes on me. The photo was then processed in the Camerabag app.

Day 208

This photo was taken using the hipstamatic app looking down on Beer beach from the Jubilee gardens above. It was quite busy, with it being warm and the beginning of the summer, and i also captured some people in the bottom left of the frame looking out over the beach from the bench.

Day 207

This photo was taken on Beer beach using the iris photo app, to give the texture and border to the photo.

Day 206

This photo is a stitched panorama taken from a car park in Seaton, Devon, looking over to one side of the regeneration site in town, with the steel frame of the new Tesco store being built there. I then processed the photo in the dynamic light app, which gave more definition to the clouds and also added the red tones around the edges of the photo.

Day 205

This is a photo of a new rocket red mclaren cap that I was given today, the same day as Lewis Hamilton won the 2011 German grand prix which was fitting, so I took this photo of the side of the cap and then processed it in the instagram app.

Day 204

This is a photo I took of the eyes of my younger brother, which I then processed in the free 'Water Photo' app which creates a mirror image reflection of the selected photo. The app is nothing special, but for free, it could create some interesting images in the right situation.

Day 203

Today's photo is a bit more experimental than others I have done during the project. It was an ordinary photo of the steel frame being constructed of a new supermarket, which I then processed in the Dynamic Light app which gave this result with one of the built in effects.

Day 202

This photo was taken inside the home at night, with the main focus on the two pairs of plugs and tea and sugar holders in the kitchen. I then processed it the Camerabag app to finish it off.

Day 201

This image is a result of an experiment I did by the regeneration site in Seaton, Devon. It is an overlay of two images, one taken in April 2010 (when I got my iphone) and the second taken today when the view was completely different. I used the Pro HDR app to overlay the photos which meant both had to be the same size, so to make things simple, I processed both in the Shakeitphoto app, giving the resulting image a simple square format.

Day 200

This photo marks another small milestone in the project by reaching photo 200, well over halfway through now. It was taken while I was walking through fields in between Branscombe and Beer, as dark clouds were forming from the west, however as you can see, sunlight could still break through.

Day 199

This photo is another panorama, made from 5 images and then processed in the Autostitch app. After that, it was then further processed in the Dynamic Light app.

Day 198

This photo was taken in the village on a sunday afternoon, where there was a craft fair which is a regular occurrence there. I have always wondered what type of things they sell in there, but didnt go in this time. I took the photo using the basic Iphone camera and then processed it in the Camerabag app.

Day 197

This photo was taken in a field late in the afternoon, with cows grazing in it. I processed the photo in the Dynamic light app to give it an infrared effect.

Day 196

This is a stitched panoramic photo that I took on Beer head looking in a westerly direction in the morning with the sun behind me, meaning the scene was well lit and also the sky was well exposed and not washed out. I then processed the photo in the Dynamic Light app, to give it an extra punch.

Day 195

This photo was taken as the sun was setting and the light catching the edges of these plants in a field. I decided to capture it using the basic iphone camera app and then i processed it in the Instagram app.

Day 194

Again on a car related theme, this photo was taking when I was walking home when I spotted a rather nice looking Ferrari parked on the road in the village, a rarity round here. I took the photo with the default iphone camera app and then processed it in the camerabag app with the 'helga' filter.

Day 193

This is a photo of one of the prints I made today of one of my photos I took at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on Sunday. Im in the process of sorting through them and printing ones that I like.

Day 192

Today I was busy going through photos I had taken at the British Grand Prix the day before, and tweaking the better ones if they needed it, in photoshop, which you can see me doing here from this iphone photo.

Day 191

This photo was taken at Silverstone, where I went to the British Gp, It is of the old Bridge corner the was used until 2009 which used to be flat out for drivers. I used a range of apps including pic grunger to get the final image.

Day 190

This photo was taken outside the shop where I was getting food for my day at Silverstone tomorrow (day 191) where I will be watching (and photographing!) the F1 British GP.

Day 189

This photo was taken in a car park using the Dynamic Light app and then processed in the Camerabag app to give it the vignette effect.

Day 188

This image was created by stitching 5 photos with the basic Iphone camera function in the Autostitch app, that were taken in Dartmoor. I then processed the panoramic image in the Dynamic light app to really bring out the tones throughout the photo.

Day 187

This photo was taken with the built in iphone camera app while in the passenger seat of a car traveling along a wet road into Exeter, I then processed it in the camerabag app.

Day 186

This is a combination of two photos that I took on Beer beach in Devon, that were taken with the Pro HDR app. I then stitched them together using the Autostitch app before further processing the stitched image in the Dynamic Light app, to give the photo a bit more contrast.

Day 185

This photo was taken using the Hipstamatic app, as I walked the coast path between Seaton and Beer in Devon. This part of the cliff is well signed due to the obvious dangers of the exposed edge of the cliff (there have been fatalities in the past few years from people falling off) but people still go up to the edge at their own risk. I was happy with the view from where I was standing.

Day 184

This photo is a simple one for today, after a relaxed day, I just took a photo of a glass of cider that I was just about to drink for the evening. It was then processed in the dynamic light app.

Day 183

This photo was taken on Beer beach as the fishing boats were out at sea ready to get the daily catch. The photo was processed in the now removed from itunes app store Film Lab app.

Day 182 (1/7/11)

The first photo of the month of July, was taken on the coast path inbetween Beer and Seaton, looking down onto the beach at Beer, it was then processed in the Iris photo app.
