A photo a day by Alex Moorehead, all the way through the year 2011 All photos in the project will be taken and processed using an iphone.
Day 304
This is a photo taken using the standard camera app on my Iphone. I took it outside the house at 5:20am when I was waiting for a lift into my training for my new job.
Day 301
This was a photo I took while out where I decided to look down at the ground, where I found in this small area, lots of different surfaces and textures, from soil to paving to tarmac. I then processed the photograph in the Shakeitphoto app to give the photo the most suitable look and feel.
Day 300
Reaching the last of the big milestones before the end of this project, is this photo I took of the back of my fingers which has then been processed in the camerabag app.
Day 299
This photo was taken while I was on a break this morning. Here is the cup that I used, which has been processed in the camerabag app when I got home.
Day 298
This photo was taken of the south side of the new Tesco store in Seaton, Devon. I then processed the photo in the Tiny Planets app to give it the planet effect, wrapping the store around the centre.
Day 297
This photo was taken of myself reflected in the bathroom mirror as I got ready for my first day of my new job, I processed the photo in the Photoforge2 app.
Day 296
Didnt really take photos of anything using the iphone today, so this was taken with the basic Iphone camera app while I had my laptop on my lap. I then edited it slightly using the new editing app built into ios5 which isnt all that special, it has to be said.
Day 295
This iphone 3gs photo was taken as I was walking along the street when I discovered the bottom half of a shoe, upside down on the road, which I found slightly odd. I processed the photo in the Photoforge 2 app.
Day 294
The photo for today, is another iphone sunset that I have captured. I took the photo in Seaton using the pro hdr app and then added the border in the Photoforge 2 app.
Day 293
Although not quite the end of October, this photo was taken of a carved out pumpkin ready for the big day. I was also testing out one of the new iphone apps that I had just downloaded called 'big lens' where you can adjust the focus and aperture in a similar way to digital SLR's.
Day 292
This photo was taken very early in the morning using just the standard iphone camera app. It was a cold clear night, so I just positioned the moon in the centre of the image and just pressed the virtual shutter button. No further apps were used.
Day 291
For today's photo, I wanted to go for something slightly unusual, therefore I looked down, more precisely at the breaking up road surface covered in broken up yellow lines. I processed the photo in the shakeitphoto app, which gave it I square crop and a polaroid 'snap' style border.
Day 290
This photo was taken inside the house of one of the lights. I then processed it in the Camera+ app to change it to black and white and add the border around the edge.
Day 289
This photo was taken and processed using the Camera+ app, of an old phonebox without the phone, just the light illuminating the box in the darkness.
Day 288
This photo was taken while holding a fisheye lens against the iphone camera to get the ultra wide effect I wanted when looking up at St Michael's church in Beer, Devon. I managed to capture a good tonal range in the photo and just boosted it slightly in the Dynamic light app, but not enough to take any of the quality away from it. I finished it off by adding a border to the image in the photoshop express app.
Day 287
This photo was taken of some of the information that I got from an induction day for a new Job I will be starting next month. Taken and processed in the camerabag app.
Day 286
This photo was taken while I was in Exeter looking down Martin's lane, between the High Street and the Cathedral green. I gave it an old style look in the Iris Photo app.
Day 283
Today/s photo was taken of a page out of a photography magazine that I was reading, when I stumbled across one of my tweets and the response it got from the magazine on Twitter. It was slightly weird to see it in print like that but also quite cool at the same time.
Day 281
This is a simple diagonally angled photo I took of the rear of the new Tesco store in Seaton, which opens next month. I am always drawn to the lines and shapes of the architecture and the colors against the blue and white of the afternoon sky. I processed the photo in the Camerabag app.
Day 280
This is a 5 photo stitched panorama that I took on the beach at Seaton, Devon. I took it after seeing some similar panoramic images in this left to right style in a magazine, resulting in this photo of the Beach huts, which will be removed for winter before long.
Day 279
This is a panoramic iphone photo that I processed in the Tiny Planets app of the new Tesco store being built in Seaton, Devon.
Day 278
Didn't do an awful lot today, so I decided to shoot a photo of a row of gummy bears on the work top, I then processed the photo in the camerabag app using the cinema effect to finish it off.
Day 277
This is a photo I took while walking around Axminster town centre briefly. It is of the disused derelict Webster's garage and shot through a broken window frame. It was slightly dark in the shadow areas in the original photo, so I put it through the Dynamic Light app and then gave it a border in the Photoforge 2 app.
Day 276
This image is 3 single photos I took and assembled in the Diptic app of a drink and a small pudding thing that I had early in the evening.
Day 275
This photo was taken as I walked along the esplanade in Seaton, Devon late afternoon as the very hot october temperatures had calmed and the sun was starting to set. I used the pro hdr app to take the photo enabling me to fine tune the final image before I saved it onto the camera roll on my iphone.
Day 274 (1/10/11)
I went out for a quick walk at night for the first October photo of this project, I took this in Beer using the Hipstamatic app.
